Pulsatilla, when given in 10-drop doses, 3 times a day from the 27th day of the monthly period till it appears, has been found to be an effective preventive. After fertilisation has taken place and in very early stages of conception,
certain medicines have been found to terminate the pregnancy without any
untoward effect. Pulsatilla, Cinnamonium, Gossypium etc. generally in low potency (lx to 6x) but occasionally in very high potencies (10M, 50M) all in repeated doses 2 or 3 times daily for 3 or 4 days, for inducing abortion very often give desired result. Pulsatilla in 10M potency repeated 2 or 3 times a day has proved a success in terminating pregnancy in its early stage. Individualisation is the basis of homoeopathy, it is doubtful if it would ever be possible to find a single drug for prevention of birth on long-term basis or for termination of pregnancy which would apply to all cases.
Mental factors rule supreme in such conditions, any drug selected for
termination of pregnancy would, it looks, have to be selected with an eye on the
normal mental state of the patient.
Dose: 4tablets. Take the medicine (as explained below) on the first, second and third day after cessation of your menstrual cycle every month till conception is not desired.
