Throat: inflammed (dark red), high fever, in fauces there is 'burning and stinging'.

Larynx (laryngitis): high fever

Croup: you find a child who was exposed to dry cold wind few hours ago now in great agony, tossing about, there is short , dry (hoarse, dry, loud, spasmodic, croupy, suffocating) cough, very little wheezing, cough wakes her/him from sleep, there is great anxiety, Aconite cuts short the illness.
