Drugs produce peculiar symptoms. Where these agree in drug and patient, the ailment is cancelled, and health results. This is most strikingly seen in acute and uncomplicated sickness.
When you give to a patient a remedy that can produce his symptoms, it must be given in small dose to which his sensitive condition will respond without undue aggravation and suffering.

MERCURIOUS SOL
Sweat- profuse
            very offensive
Mouth - very foul (Bapt)
              salivation offensive
< from sweating / no relief from sweating
Colds - extend to chest.

NUX VOMICA
Drinking - after: immediate shivering and chilliness.
Chilliness - on the
                          slightest movement
                          slightest exposure to open air
                          by the slightest draught of air he gets chilled
                                                                      he cannot get warm
                         great coldness  not removed by heat of stove, or by  bed coverings
Shivering and chilliness for an hour.
Dreads to go into open air.
Attack, as of fever, shivering and drawing in the limbs.
Serious ailments from catching cold are often removed by it.

GELSEMIUM
Cannot get well after flu a few weeks ago.
Temperature 990 C
Not ill: not well.
Chilly with heats and chills.
Weakness and heaviness of limbs and eyelids.

CHINA
Continued debility, with chilliness.
Anemic, pallid, weak.
Sensitive to touch
                  motion
                  cold air
< alternate days
Weariness of limbs with desire to stretch
                                                   move
                                                   change position.

KALI PHOS
General weakness and gloom.

ARSENICUM
Clilliness
Restlessness
Anxiety
Fear
Fear of death (Acon)
Prostration.
Burnings, > by heat.
Oversensitive, fastidious.  
Pains - red hot needle pains.
Sensation - ice water running through veins.
                  boiling water going through blood vessels.            
Thirst - for sips of cold water.

PULSATILLA
Flitting chilliness, chills in spots.
Cold creeps in back.
chilly in warm room.
Profuse morning sweat.
Heat : as if hot water thrown over him.
One-sided chilliness, heat, sweat.
External warmth intolerable. < in a close room.
Palpitation with anxiety, must through off clothes.

Cough: dry at night
                  goes on sitting up
                   returns  on lying down again (Hyosc)
Thirstless, no hunger.
Tearful, peevish.

SULPHUR
Partially recovers and then relapses.
Frequent flushes of heat.
Uneasiness in blood.
Very sensitive to  open air : to draughts (opp. to Puls)
< after washing and bath.
Takes cold.
Oppression, burning, stitches, congestion of chest.
Heat of crown of head with cold feet.
Soles burn at night, must be put out of bed.
Hungry, starving at 11 a.m.
Drowsy by day, restless nights. Starts from frightful dreams.

Cyprepedium   and  Scutellaria 30  good in post-influenzal neuroses.
